TECHNISTONE

Technistone material is an engineered stone or composite material. This stone is often called quartz. Technistone contains 90% granite and quartz sand, some of which also contains mirror fragments. Technistone is an alternative for those natural stone lovers who want to see practical, beautiful and at the same time very durable work surfaces in their kitchen. Unlike natural stone, its surface does not have pores, veins and cells. Natural stones do not tend to be monochromatic, but Technistone surfaces are monochromatic, snow-white, brown, beige, gray, etc. To obtain a white pigment, the white sand is additionally bleached. High-quality polyester resin is used as a binder, and multi-color is achieved with color pigments. The latest novelty is the classic shades of natural stone and marble patterns.
Technistone stones do not compete with granite, although they retain all the practical properties of granite. Used for kitchen countertops, stairs, patios, fireplaces and pool finishes. Ideal for rooms with particularly intensive traffic, such as airports, shopping malls, offices, banks and hotels. Easy to create mosaics and various decors by combining different colors.
Technistone sheet sizes are 318 x 155 cm or 320 x 160.
Thicknesses 1.2 cm, 2 and 3 cm. The thinnest of them, therefore the lightest, is usually used for kitchen panels or floors. This is very convenient, because you can combine the same stone for different products. It is important to note that the thickness of natural stone starts from 2 cm.
Thanks to its harmless effect when in contact with food, it is ideal for kitchen and bar worktops for preparing food. The heat resistance of stone is relevant in the kitchen. The material has a low water absorption coefficient and is fireproof.
