What material to choose for a kitchen countertop?
Granite, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone are excellent materials that can be used in the kitchen and other food preparation areas. These materials are resistant to stains, dents, scratches, open fire and heat. Like other high-end surface materials, granite, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone, when cleaned regularly and properly, will not cause any health and sanitary problems. All of these materials are hard and durable enough and are also safe to use for cutting without fear of scratching them. However, marble is not recommended for use in the kitchen, as it is easier to scratch and stain. When cutting on marble surfaces, the result will be similar to using a wooden surface.

Can I place a hot pan on a stone worktop?
Any stone is a non-combustible and heat-resistant material. Granite, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone are all ideal for kitchens, as they will not be damaged by heat or open flames. Marble should not be used for kitchen surfaces, as excessive heat and aggressive environments can cause damage. Care should be taken to avoid sudden temperature fluctuations, as this can lead to micro-cracks.
Will granite, marble, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone stain?
Natural stone can be protected from stains by quickly cleaning the surface. If dirt (grease, oil, coffee, wine, etc.) is left for a longer period of time, the stone will darken. Marble not only stains, but also chemically reacts with acidic substances or products. Composite materials such as Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone are very difficult to damage with organic stains. Before purchasing the surfaces, our employees will inform you about each specific material, its use and the desired care products.
How to limit surface staining?
All surfaces we manufacture are treated with special, professional products that provide a protective layer to the surface to reduce the possibility of the material absorbing stains.
Can the stone surface be made heated?
Stone usually accepts room temperature, but is slightly cooler. However, when exposed to direct sunlight, the stone will heat up more. To artificially regulate the temperature of the stone surface, various floor and surface heating or cooling technologies can be used.
Is it possible to repair stone surfaces?
Natural stone and Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone pieces are difficult to break. If any damage does occur, it can be repaired by gluing the broken piece back together with epoxy-based adhesives.
What types of surface edge processing are possible?
We offer several dozen types of edge profiling for various surfaces. The most popular of them are straight, round, semi-round, beveled. You can view all available profiles in the Profiles section.
What affects the price of natural stone?
The price of a material is determined by its availability, originality, and quality. If you compare the same stone between several suppliers, it is worth being careful - a quality stone has clear crystals, a smooth, evenly polished surface, and no marks left by the grinder.
How do natural stone surfaces compare to surfaces of other materials?
Stone is an investment that will last forever, maintaining the same beauty it had at the beginning of installation.
Can the customer choose the stone slab from which the surface would be made?
We recommend visiting our company to choose the best stone slab from which we will prepare the surface or part you need. Stone types that will not be available on site can be ordered from a catalog or samples on site.
