Which material is better for a kitchen worktop?

Granite, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone products are excellent materials for applying in kitchens and other places for cooking. They are resistant to stains, scratches, open fire and heat. Alike other high quality materials for surfaces, granite, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone regularly treated will not result in appearance of health and hygienic problems. All these materials are solid and sustainable enough, you can cut things on such surfaces without scratching them. Marble is not advisable to use in kitchens, since the material is easily scratched and soiled. Cutting things on a marble surface will have the same effect as on a wood surface.

Am I allowed to place a hot frying pan onto a stone worktop?

All stones are fire-proof and resistant to heat. Granite, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone are perfect for kitchens, because they are not influenced by heat and open fire. Marble should not be applied in kitchen surfaces, since excessive heat and tough environment could damage it. You have to follow temperature drops that will probably lead to the appearance of microscopic crevices.

Do granite, marble, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone get soiled?

Natural stones can be easily treated. If some dirt (stains of oils, coffee, wine, etc.) maintains on the surface for a long period, a stone will become darker. Marble does not only get soiled, it also reacts with acids.

Composite materials, such as Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone are almost impossible to damage with organic stains. Before purchasing of a worktop our consultants will inform you about the concrete material, its usage and appropriate cleaners.

How to minimize dirt accumulation on a surface?

All our surfaces are finished with special professional agents covering them with a protection layer from various stains.

Is it possible to make a heated stone surface?

Usually stones take the room temperature, though are a little cooler. Under the sunlight a stone will become warmer. To specially regulate temperatures of a stone surface is possible by applying different heating or cooling technologies for floors and other surfaces.

Can stone surfaces be repaired and restored?

Elements made of a natural stone, Technistone, Silestone and Caesarstone are almost impossible to damage. If still some damages appeared they are easily glued with epoxide resin adhesive.

What types of moulding profiles exist?

What does a price on a natural stone depend on?

The price is defined by a material availability, original characteristics and quality. If one compares the same type of a stone offered by different companies, it is worth observing – a qualitative sample has pure crystals, smooth, evenly polished surface without traces of a polisher.

What are surfaces made of a natural stone in comparison with other materials?
